Swimming alongside fishes
Back from Tioman. Diving was awesome man. Was still feeling sian on Friday night while heading down to Lavender to meet up. Maybe cos I was shagged from the previous few days. Boarded a mini bus after dinner. Was hoping for Grassland Fast Car, but no such luck.

Reached Johor at abt 9 plus where we stopped at Shell for a break. Was comtemplating whether to buy anything tt we didnt need jus cos its cheap. Hahahah.. Hit the roads again. We were headed towards Mersing to spend the nite before taking the ferry over to Tioman the next day. The road there looked jus like those in Initial D. Dark with only 1 lane. The mini bus we were in looked like the one Itsuki/Ah Mu drove to race with Sean Yue. Our driver was recklessly good though. Reached Mersing in about 2 hrs. The hungry us went looking for some food after unpacking. As usual Sam was commenting about the food. Hahaha.. But the food at the roadsides stalls were quite good.

Anw on to the main event. Woooo.. Saturday morn. Boarded the ferry after breakfast. Had to stay at the harbour for quite some time becos it was low tide and the ferry couldnt get out. Entertained ourselves by arguing about nonsense and telling lame jokes and questions. My favourite was "A guy dancing Hip Hop on a tree. Guess a Chinese Character." Tag the answer to win a prize.

Finally reached Paya Beach Resort. According to SY, its the more peaceful side of the island. The other side called Selang is where the crowd is. We were alrd behind schedule cos of the low tide so we put our things down and went for our first open water dive. Shiok. Doing everything on the boat was really different. Enjoying the cool wind blowing in ur face. Awesome man. Self Discovery: I get seasick. Crap. And i puked some yellow stuff out. Ate the seasick pill after lunch though. Miracle pill. And i was able to enjoy the boat ride again. Thank God for Pharmacists.

The water at our first dive side was awesome man. Clear. We had to do our skills test for our first dive and while kneeling down a fish actually came quite close to look at me in the face probably thinking if it could nibble on this huge creature and not get eaten. Then it swam away when i tried to grab it.

Our 2nd dive was the best though. Saw a turtle digging thru the corals with his head. Looked damn cute with his head going in and out. We have all decided that divers need sticks to disturb the fishes. I'm gonna get a damn long pointer to poke the fishes next time. SY managed to get a few clown fishes to swim in circles when he twirled his rod (Don't think dirty) around them.

Fantastic wkend. Shall upload the photos soon. Diving again soon guys.
